February Inspiration is using crackle effects

It can be Paint or stamp and inks as long as we get a lovely crackle look.

OH NO WHAT A MESS

I was attempting to do a technique similar to one Louise Nelson taught us at camp mojo, but instead of soft water colours I wanted to use vibrant alcohol inks oooooops too much.

To try and fix it I covered the whole page in white crackle paint again and let it dry. Then I used spray colours in glimmers and Dylusions. The end product was not what I was going for to start with but I can live with it. LOL.

Here is my take on the Inspiration Challenge. I loved it that much I did two.

I have been inspired by the wonderful talents of Finnabair with these layouts.

I love using up all the little bits and bobs sitting on my scrap desk or hiding away previously unloved because the colour was wrong. Everything gets painted white and the final colour scheme is up to you.

1 Project life card.....the black and white print used as a photo mat

2 masks/stencil......red swirl and crackle background

3 doodles.....out side frame, inside frame around photo and out lines on swirls

4 mixed medias.....texture paste, acrylic paint/ink, metal and stamps

Kraft it up December challenge

The challenge was to do a different style than you normally would so I went for a more painted background not as layered as I usually do. There was also a colour choice, I went with the Pink/Kraft/White/Gold tones.
