Sassy Scrapper February Challenge

This month our inspiration is a mood board. Love it.

As soon as I seen the red door I knew exactly which photo I was going to use. My niece recently went to Malta and this was one of my favourite photos she had taken with her in it.

Scrap Around the World February Challenge

This months challenge is to use the mood board to inspire you. I loved it.

I was inspired by the colours, hearts and the zigzag pattern. I really loved the quote too.

Scrap the Boys February Challenge

The brief for this months challenge was to scrap a layout of your boys and "Someone special" in their lives. I straight away thought of my eldest son and my mother.

Go on over to the http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/ and check out all the awesome talent.

Crackle Effect challenge

Here are a couple more of my layouts using Twiddleybitz and crackle effects.

Some close ups.

A vintage Layout using a photo of me. I know I am vintage bloody hell.

Close up.

One more this is from my 50th birthday and it is really hard to get Dad to behave for a photo.
I have learnt to just scrap what I end up with, funny faces and all.

Twiddleybitz February Inspiration

February Inspiration is using crackle effects

It can be Paint or stamp and inks as long as we get a lovely crackle look.

OH NO WHAT A MESS

I was attempting to do a technique similar to one Louise Nelson taught us at camp mojo, but instead of soft water colours I wanted to use vibrant alcohol inks oooooops too much.

To try and fix it I covered the whole page in white crackle paint again and let it dry. Then I used spray colours in glimmers and Dylusions. The end product was not what I was going for to start with but I can live with it. LOL.
