Gauche Alchemy November challenge

I love Stream Punk Style. I thought I would do the front of my new 6 x 8 art journal.

I first covered it using matte gel medium and die cut paper doileys.

I embossed my chipboard pieces with rust coloured powder.

I decided to cut off the elastic closure too. I then went to town with my paper and fabric flowers and my metal charms and pieces.

Sassy Scrappers November challenge

Yay!  I am up to date from last years photos thanks to this challenge.

I tried something a little different instead of inking around the outside of the page I embossed with the stampendous Aged Silver.

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.....

I had fun with this softer palette and all the goodies in the die cuts pack.

Scrap booking top 50 november challenge

Bright, Fun and Inspiring everything you need in a challenge.

I have actually done this layout to complement another I have done for a different challenge this month. It was from a little mini get away my husband and I took at the beginning of this year, where we went to Darling Harbour Sydney for the weekend.

So my title on this will make more sense when sitting beside the one of him.

I was in a clean and simple mood for both of them.

Scrap the boys November challenge

We have a food prompt for our challenge this month. I have done a photo of my husband with a cocktail at Margaritaville in Darling Harbour.  Fruit is a food right???

I have done another page that will sit to the right of this in my album for a different challenge this month. SO not quite a double layout but definitely complimentary and completes the story.

I was in a clean and simple mood for this one.

ARTastic November challenge

I absolutely love this painting, so I have taken it very literally in my inspiration for my scrapbook layout.

While looking for a nice photo of my daughter, I came across one of her best friend Eve that I simply could not go past for this challenge.

I have used a template, texture paste, foam stamps, acrylics, spray colours, brushes, fingers, metal charms, flowers.....I had a ball one of my most therapeutic layouts in a long time.

What a truly beautiful mood board this month, we could go in any direction with it really.

This is my take on it....

I was inspired by the colours but also the painty feel some of the elements on the mood board had.

Gauche Alchemy October Challenge

What a creepy/gorgeous halloweeney mood board we have this month and again Ebony has given me the perfect photo from one of her photo shoots.

I have used some clothing tags as accents here and a piece of lace I just could not leave in the bargain bin years ago. The black honeycombed tissue paper is from wrapping I salvaged from the T2 shop I love to frequent.
My favourite chipboard is featured also....

Scrap Around the world September Challenge

check out all the inspiration over on the blog.... link below.

I was inspired from the mood board by the natural textures and neutral colours with the pop of pink.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I hand stitched the Hessian to the background and made the Hessian flower in the cluster out of the off cuts.
I originally was going to only use these photo's with Mady showing and cover me up, but when I seen the song title on the music sheet (which was a random pick) I had to put me in it. LOL.
