Sentimental embellishments

I bought my Husband a watch for our first wedding anniversary nearly 27 years ago now. I picked it myself went and had the back engraved "All my Love Tracey" 22.3.87.  Well I could tell by the look on his face when he opened it that he didn't like it and of cause I couldn't exchange it as I had it engraved. So that was my lesson to never ever ever buy him a surprise. He nick named the watch BIG BEN and because I had bought a really good one, he couldn't kill it with a stick. It did eventually die about two years ago and my gorgeous friend Jo Kinder suggested I scrap it.  It has taken me a while and I have stepped out of my comfort zone with this layout and tried to channel the very talented artist Finnabair.

Here is my attempt at a mixed media layout.

I have constructed it on a 12 x 12 piece of chipboard so as it could take the colour sprays and the weight of all the metal pieces.

January challenge White with one

My sister got a new under water camera for xmas (2010).
That is how long it has taken me to scrap these photos.
The January Challenge lead me back to them.
The kids had a ball with the camera and I got some great photos to scrap.

January Challenge Kraft it Up

This was the page I needed to complement, not a true double but still look like they go together. The after op photo's had been sitting around for a while (august 2012) waiting for me to come up with something.
The January Kraft it up Challenge suited it to a tee. I am glad I can check off another job done.
